East Dallas Rentals runs this website, a place to find homes for rent in East Dallas. Owners and property managers list their homes here, each one either for a long-term lease or for short stays.
We focus on one part of the city and try to do it well. That means clear listings, honest details, and plain guides to the neighborhoods, from Swiss Avenue and the M Streets to White Rock Lake and Casa Linda.
What you will find here #
- Homes for rent. Each home's page shows its rent, its terms, and whether it is a lease or a short stay. Leases are usually for 12 months.
- Written criteria for every lease. Each home for lease shows the tenant selection criteria its owner or manager uses, and its application shows them again before you sign. See how criteria work.

Who decides on a home #
Each home's owner or property manager answers questions about it, reviews its applications, and makes the lease or booking with you. East Dallas Rentals runs the site, keeps the default criteria that owners and managers start from, and answers questions about the site.
How the site is paid for #
East Dallas Rentals pays to run this site. Renters pay nothing to browse homes or to send an inquiry. If a home has an application fee, its owner or manager sets it, the home's page shows the amount, and you pay it offline, directly to them. This site never takes application fees.
How we work #
- The same rules for everyone. Every owner and manager who lists a home here must follow fair housing laws and use the same written criteria for every applicant for that home. Read our fair housing policy.
- Places, not people. Our guides describe places, never who a neighborhood is "for."
- Plain words. We write so that anyone can understand the terms before they apply.
