Do you own or manage a home for rent in East Dallas? Owners and property managers list homes here through their own accounts, each home either for a long-term lease or for short stays. Accounts are invite-only for now.
How to get an invite #
Send us a short note with the form on our contact page, or email [email protected]. Please include:
- your name and email address;
- whether you own the home or manage it for its owner;
- the address or general area of the home;
- the type of home, such as a house, duplex, or townhome, and the number of bedrooms and bathrooms;
- whether you plan to offer it on a lease or as a short stay; and
- when you expect it to be ready.
Sending a note does not sign you up for anything, and it does not cost anything. We will reply by email.
What the site gives you #
- Your own account to add your homes and keep them up to date.
- A page for each home, for a long-term lease or for short stays, with the rent and terms shown up front, your photos, and a map pin that can show the area instead of the street address.
- Questions and showing requests from the home's page, sent to you.
- Applications for homes on a lease. Each application shows your tenant selection criteria, and the applicant's signed acknowledgment is saved with it.
- A calendar for short stays, with the nightly rate and the dates you block.
What every listing needs #
- Honest details. The rent, deposits, fees, and terms shown up front and kept accurate, and whether the home is a lease or a short stay.
- Written criteria for each home on a lease. Tenant selection criteria that meet Texas Property Code section 92.3515. You start from the site's default criteria and choose your own settings, such as whether you accept Housing Choice Vouchers, any application fee, and any minimum credit score. The home's page and its application show your criteria, with the acknowledgment Texas law requires, and you use them the same way for every applicant.
- Fees offline. Any application fee is collected offline, never through this site.
- Fair housing. Listing words, photos, and decisions that follow federal, Texas, and City of Dallas fair housing laws. See our fair housing policy.
- Answers for renters. Reply to questions about your home, and give each applicant an answer within seven days after the application is complete, as our criteria page tells renters.
- Any license Texas law requires if you lease or manage homes for others.
